This morning, I was going to come to Canada. I prepared all my documents( letter of approval, DLI letter of acceptance, etc.). When I went to check in at the airline counter, they said my ETA has been suspended for some reasons and normally I should be able to fly to Canada with these documents. Airline staff help me to call Canada border, and Border agent told me to contact my college and Canada Consulate. After that, I logged on to my account, my ETA status has been updated on 8 OCT but without any notice. I have no idea what it happened, but please check it before you go to Canada. I was wrong to think ETA should be fine until the expiry date. Right now, I can only wait until their office hour to clarify the problem.

I guess IRCC invalidated all the ETA and counterfoils on October 8. (We have seen a few cases recently on the same date.) Contact with IRCC and told them your DLI on the list. Probably they will reinstate your eTA shortly.

I think not too many applicants facing this problem, as I know my friend do not have the same problem, no status change at all since the application approved. But just a friendly reminder, please check this before you go.
