I am a British passport holder and applied for an eta 2 weeks ago as I am travelling to Canada for 1 week in August. I received an email saying I needed a medical before they would process the eta. This has cost me 540 CAD for the medical. This was now a week ago and I still haven’t heard if the eta will be granted.
Now from what I gather, you don’t need a medical for an eta- I don’t have any history of TB/ aids /syphillis etc and am under 40 and in good health.
I passed the medical with flying colours.
I think there has been an admin error on the Canadian side which has caused this but there is no way I can get hold of anyone to discuss it.
I have phoned the O Canada number, the high commission in the UK, but no one can help me.
I have emailed and been told to wait 5-7 days for a response. This was two weeks ago and all I got was a response saying they have forwarded my email to another department.

Has this happened to anyone before? Does anyone have anyone I can contact to discuss this?

My partners eta went through in minutes- I can’t understand why mine is dragging?
I have two weekend until my flight and at the present moment, I will not be allowed on the plane as I do not have the eta.

My Husband has just applied for a ETA and has been asked for. C.V full 10 years of addresses in the uk. Family information and to fill out a tempory resident form, non of which will
