Hi, guys
I need someone to help me clarify something

Situation:
I used to be on a F1 visa in the US which is a student visa and I had an issue with one of my class I got dropped by it and they terminated my visa.I then became out of status but I left couple weeks after the incidence back to my country France and I never went back to the US or even apply for a VISA ever again.

on the ETA form there is one question

Have you ever been refused entry into Canada or any other country?

which I answer No because It's true my US visa was terminated but I never been denied from any country or the US because I left and never came back
and in the eTA form I don't see any question about previous VISA

My eTA got approved but my concern is could I be denied entry to Canada if the border officer see that I got a previous VISA termination from the US?

Be

Your visa was cancelled so don’t believe it is the same as being refused.

Be?

and I agree it's totally different I don't want to have any trouble but I don't find anything on the eTa regarding that
Your F1 visa was cancelled because of the issue you had with your class. Visa cancellation is not the same as being refused a visa.

If it gives you peace of mind, you can email the Paris visa office to inform them about this F1 cancellation + you can mention you have an eTA

Thank you for your input so I should be good if I visit Canada
