I have applied for an Eta on Jun 29th 2018. This started with an application which quickly turned into a process that's still going on to this day. I am a Permanent Resident of US, with a Bosnian passport. First email from IRCC was that I would need to submit additional information for immigration officers to review. This includes Police Record, FBI Record. (My record includes a Disorderly Conduct VIOLATION that I have plead guilty to over 10 years ago) I have submitted this as soon as it was received to be exact date was Jul 13th 2018. Once this was submitted I have not heard anything back from anyone in regards to my application. The status on the website has also not changed since my application was submitted. Should I start to panic since its taking so long. I need to buy a plane ticket soon but cant since I have to wait for the answer from Canada. My question is how long does this process last. Should i be worried that my application was forgotten and wont hear anything back anytime soon. Is there a number i can call to inquire about my status. I did try to email them.. but its been 7 days so far and have not heard anything back.
