Okay, so husband has 3 kids in california, who will be non-accompanying. Their mother has full custody, but yes we will get the medicals done for them to avoid any issues there.
Butttt....my husband has an older daughter from another relationship. He has not seen her for over 10 years. The mother and new husband have full custody. And they refuse to let my husband have anything to do with her. My husbands name is on the birth certificate though......The daughter and her mom n stepdad had moved away from Mexico to another part of Mexico and then to the US. The mother has cut my husband off completely years ago. My husband does not know where his daughter is, who she is with, what country she is in, and even if she is alive or not.
He has tried to find her through facebook and other social media but without any luck. He had found a relative of the daughters mother before on facebook and tried to contact him and see if he could find out about his daughter through him but with no luck.
So basically, there is no way he is going to be able to get a medical for her and if somehow by some miracle he is able to find her...there is noooo way the childs mother will let him do the medical.
So in this case....what are we to do?? Write a letter explaining the situation and have it notarized?? and will a notary in mexico suffice??
