Essential Docs Required before Applying in CHG Islamabad for visit visa

Dear All,

Following are some key Information which are required for applying visit visa in Islamabad and for satisfaction of visa officer.

1) Invitation Letter from your host (In case of Conference)/from your relative. In case of conference, it will be very positive if host or conference organizer in Canada could send one copy of invitation letter directly to embassy in Islamabad.
2) Provide all family status (current status, Tax returns, Bank Statements etc) in Canada if u are going for family visit.
3) Always show strong ties with Pakistan. It means if you are applying with your family, ( In case of married) then chances will be low but if you are applying alone then chances will be high.
4) Travel history should be good. If you are applying for conference then it is necessary that u have attended such events before and attach copies of all certificates at the time of case submission in CHG Islamabad.
5) Provide your current job status (job letter from HR), salary information, annual leaves plan, return booking ticket.
6) Bank statement should be on your name and normal (In case of Conference) and good (In case of family visitor). Do not provide fake and illegal statement or relative statement (Father, brother etc).

Waqar do we need to apply trv online or through hard copies? Which one is preffered?

If we forward documents via tcs or gerrys, how much time they take to process application?

I think if u are applying from Pakistan then u should submit hard copy via TCS or Gerry.
the process will be two month minimum and 4 month maximum.
