Upfront
Dear All,
I need urgent help. I just discovered there was a mistake in my express entry profile. And I only discovered this today 9th March, 20177. I mistakenly picked PH. D instead of a Masters and apparently got more scores upon which an ITA has been issuer and I have even submitted an eAPR.

What is the best way to proceed in the light of this discovery. Can an email explaining this situation rectify this? If not can I withdraw my application? If I choose to withdraw my application can I get a refund of fees paid?

I need this information urgently, as a lot is depending on the success of this application.
Please help

A few questions:

1) What is your CRS score both with a PhD and with a Masters?
2) When did you receive your ITA?
3) Is your CRS score (with the Masters degree) higher than the cut off score for the draw that you received your ITA in?

If #3 is a "no", then raise a CSE to withdraw your application. If it's "yes", raise a CSE and send your Masters degree with a letter of explanation.

Many thanks for your answer.
1. CRS Score with Masters is 441 with PhD is 460
2. I received ITA January 12th, AoR 9th February.
3. Yes, its definitely higher.

The 11th January ita score was 459. As you should have only had 441 points you will be recalculated and rejected. You may be charged with misrepresentation. Send them a CSE asap explaining your error and hope they don't ban you.

Do I need to suggest withdrawing my application in my CSE?

I submitted by EAPR on Oct 30th. For the employment records of two different organizations, the uploaded files got interchanged. i.e. for Org A, I loaded the file for Org B and vice versa.

Can this be a cause of rejection? Should I raise CSE?

What is the remedy?

Hi @kryt0n, @ashu1710, @DelPiero07, I made a minor error in my eAPR.

My spouse's Masters was evaluated as follows:
Canadian Equivalency: Two years of post-secondary study at a non-recognized institution Remarks: The credential is not comparable to a completed Canadian education credential.

However in the EE, ITA and eAPR application it is selected as follows:
Two year program at a university, college, trade or technical school or other institute

My CRS is 470 and if this error is rectified it will be 469. I received an ITA on 7th Feb and the cut off was 442.

I am currently in IP1 stage (Meds passed, No additional docs required)

Do you think my application will get rejected? Also is it necessary that i raise a IRCC web form? Appreciate your response.

@DelPiero07 Can we create another express entry profile after submitting a CSE for withdrawal of the PR application or should we wait for the confirmation of withdrawal from IRCC?
