Error when paying the study permit fee online.

I have been trying to pay the study permit fee online, but it kept showing the error: "Transaction not approved". I am using Visa Debit card and I am not sure if it accepts my card. If not, can I use prepaid visa card as I do not have any credit card.

Has to be credit card, system doesn't accept debit cards. You can try a pre-paid credit card, it should work.

Gee I didn't realize all your friends work for CIC. From CIC

To apply and pay online, you will need one of these credit cards:

Visa®,
MasterCard® or
American Express®.
