My husband applied to extend his visitor visa in August as we were going to get married. We received a message on Nov. 25th asking for proof that we got married. We uploaded the document but didn't see that we had to write his name and submit. We received a message on Nov. 29th that since we had failed to send the proof that he was refused and must leave Canada. This happened minutes after we left the Fed Ex Store where I had just sent the Application to Sponsor a spouse. As soon as we got home, we sent an email for reconsideration as it was only a small mistake but we haven't heard since. My question is, is he still on implied status or must he leave the country? If we cross the border in order to renew his visa, will this change anything to his PR Application? Thanks
