Hi,
Has anyone encountered this problem? I'm trying to send a short-term visa application through the CIC website and it's been more than 2 weeks now that the website doesn't allow me to upload the application. An error message 502 comes up, which doesn't allow me to finish the application process. I REALLY need to apply for the visa as I have a ticket for traveling in June.
What solution is there to this? I don't know what else to do!!! I've already tried with other browseres, rebooting the computer, uploaded the LATEST version of Adobe and used the LATEST version of the 5257 form. Without uploading the application I can't get through to the visa fee payment page.

PLEASE HELP!!!!

We are having the same problem and cannot proceed with our application which is very frustrating....
Has anybody a solution on how we can solve this problem or even somebody who we could contact for help.

Seaward, where are you from? I have a solution!!!!!! I contacted cic via skype and they were extremely helpful. They told me there are many countries that are having this problem and they are accepting TRV applications via skype.

Given that those of us who are having the 502 problem can't get to the "pay your fee" page, the only way to pay the fee, once you send your docs to cic through skype, is by Western Union or paypal - that depends what country you're in.

Contact them and see what they say. Their skype address is cic.gc.ca1

I got an email from the CIC "share" online today saying the page has been fixed and that I should try to send the application online again. I'm not sure it'll work but I'll try. I haven't made payment through Western Union just yet but I have already sent my docs to cic through skype. If the page really does work then I'll let cic skype know about it so they erase my docs form their files, just so they don't have two applications for the same person.

This is what I received from the CIC "share" online:

Hi,

How much truth is in this that CIC has a Skype Id??

As far as the web site goes, they do not mention any details related to this..

Please confirm..

Thanks
