Hello Everyone

I have a query and will be really grateful if you could guide me in this respect.

I am from India, and was granted my PR in Express entry (FSW) in october 2017.

My marriage was scheduled in Feb 2018 and thus i could not travel before marriage. After marriage i informed IRCC and returned my COPR and added my spouse's application to mine and applied again.

I am the prime applicant and now both of ours visas are being processed.

While the joint application for Visa was put up and when my wife's medical examination was conducted here in India she was NOT pregnant but now she is.

She is 3 Months pregnant at the moment.

I would like to know the following:

1. Is there a need to inform IRCC about the pregnancy at this moment ? If yes what is the procedure ?
2. If we do inform IRCC what will be the future course of action and how will it affect the processing time of our Visas?
2. If we dont inform IRCC and we land in canada say about 5-6 month pregnant Can the immigration officer refuse to let us enter ?

Kindly advise

Depending on where you land you wife may not have access to healthcare for up to 3 months. You would have to pay the medical costs.

You absolutley have to inform cic. It says on their website that you must inform of any change in your circumstances. Having a child...is a change in circumstances. Your application can take a while and if your wofe guves birth in india you will need to once again return and regain visa

No need to inform until the child is born.
