Entering Canada 1 mnth b4 course start date

My PG course at Humber colg starts on Sept 3rd.
Bt I'm planning to enter Canada by the 1st week of August,1 mnth before the course strt date.
Is it ok to travel 1 month before the course start date?

Yes you can enter into Canada the day the Visa is issued...So it should not be a problem to enter 1 month before the course date as long as ur Visa is valid....Good luck

you can enter... but the visa office at the port of entry, who will actually issue you study permit, will ask you many questions.... be prepared to answer those smartly to defend your entry a month ago... that's very important coz if the VO doesn' get satisfied, he can cancel your visa and return you.... it happens.

Thanks guys! My orientations commences on Aug 25th,just wanted to be thr 2-3 weeks b4 tht.Wanted to get used to the place,shopping etc..Hope I dnt face ny problems! I'll go fully prepared nevertheless..cheers.
