Can anyone who employed agent for this application kindly advise if we just need to provide proof of fund sufficient to meet the CIC requirement ? Must this fund submitted be similar to those we will bring to Canada in future ?

Hope to know how does the agent advise. If no need to match this amount later, then we can simply find some bank statements to meet the requirement now. otherwise, must consider seriously how much fund will bring to there and how much will be left in my home country for investment.

yenma - I am assuming this is for an FSW application. If yes, then you find the proof of funds here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

Obviously if you have arranged employment, you don't require this.

This proof can be in your native currency equivalent to Canadian Dollars. You cannot show property though. Bank statements are ideal. You do not need to ultimately bring these to Canada. Once you get your visa you can only bring to Canada what you actually require.
