Hi,

I am currently working as a front desk supervisor agent in the hospitality industry in Calgary. My PGWP will expire in January 2027. NOC 62022
My wife has a BSc in Microbiology. She also has 6 months of work experience.
My question: Is she eligible for SOWP? If not, what are the other options?

What TEER is your NOC? Is it TEER 0 or 1 or one of the select TEERS on the list? If not, she is not eligible. Her experience is not relevant.

So TEER 0 or 1. If your work permit doesn’t expire anytime soon then yes.
