Employment Reference Letter

Hello All ,

Sponsor Checklist - Proof of Employment

Provide an original letter from your current employer

The question i have is (probably might sound crazzy) , my employer is based out of US and registered as a global company.The reference letter i received is on the comapny headquarters address which is a US address.

Does it really matter if my employer is in US or Canada while am sponsoring my wife.?

am paid in CAD and my employer is registered i n canada as well, but since am in PR am mapped to the Global company .

I have paid my taxes , my employer does pay taxes to the CRA .

Please advise if any issues in this regards

No issues at all, it doesn't matter whatsoever to CIC where your employer is located.
