What to do if I cannot get a letter from one of my old employees?

There is this company back in Mexico, I worked there for 4 years, they literally say "yes, we will sent you the letter soon" to me by phone and email, but they just keep me waiting for 3 weeks now.

What should I do?

There is this company back in Mexico, I worked there for 4 years, they literally say "yes, we will sent you the letter soon" to me by phone and email, but they just keep me waiting for 3 weeks now.

What should I do?

If you don't need that particular reference for points, go back to your work history and take that job out. The need for a reference will disappear from your documents. Keep it in your activity section, though. Then, in the optional letter of explanation, explain that you could not get the letter from your former employer.

Is there any need for spouse of main applicant to get employment reference letters or do they put details elsewhere?
