Hi everyone...

As per point #18 of:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5491E.PDF

we need to submit an employment letter.

I did request one from my employer while I was still in Canada (and the letter contains pieces of information as requested by the CIC), but right now I am in Indonesia, where I got married with my wife, and will be here for a while....and the thing is, the letter has no date......is it that big of a deal? Would it be rejected by the CIC?

Does it have your dates of employment, or the start date until 'present', saying you are on a holiday or leave of absence?
If it has the dates of your employment, no date on the letter may be OK. If you can't get a new one, just send it in and the visa officer may not notice or may not care.

Yes it does say the starting date of my employment.....it doesn't say "till present", though it says "XXX is our employee, etc...."

(I'm not on a holiday or leave of absence...I'm still working for them remotely, due to the nature of my job (Search Engine Marketing Specialist).....)
