Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
I have been reading a lot on this forum about attaching biz cards with the employer's reference letter and what i dont understand is if the letter indicates the name, phone number, fax number of the authorised person on the letterhead of the company, why is the card needed?

Does anyone know if its a requirement or if its a "good - to - have"????

If your employer does not have a business card then just make it yourself. There are places that create business cards for different businesses, it can be done in less than a week. Talk to your employer about it. If your boss does not want to pay for that then do it yourself, and after you are done give some of these cards to your boss. Do not forget to make some for yourself as well stating your position, address, etc.
I do not think it is a requirement to have, but just include it with your application to be safe.

hi,

employer's business card is not mandatory, it is just nice to have, employer letter itself will have the signature of the person signing the letter along with the address and phone number

Nowadays CIC is trying to reach the phone number ( employer) to validate the employment status.

Thanks Rambo....thats what I thought too.

Guys,

Does any one in this forum applied under CEC category after 1st Jan this year without submitting the employer's letter and got the PR approved?
If so, what supporting documents have been submitted?

If rejected, what is the reason for being rejected?

Can someone please reply to this thread? My employer is not giving the reference letter as per "their" policy. I am not sure what to do now.

Thanks in advance
