Hi, I like to if it's possible to change a Employer-Specific Work Permit to an Open Work Permit. My friend was hired by a company in 2019 on 2 year WP/after his arrival they let him go after couple months. I guess Covid had something to do with it. Please let me know if there is away for him to remain in Canada.

Open work permit would bee possibe just in case of harrasment by employer i guess.
