Hey Guys,

I have already submitted my CEC file on 23rd Dec 2025 and have received AOR for the same.
I have worked in India as Engineer for good 5 years and worked in Canada as Engineering CO-OP student for a small firm for 3 months and now working as Mechanical Drafter for a company for about 2 years.

And in all those places my work duties were very similar. So i have have had similar wordings from my HR plus or minus couple of points. Would that be an issue at all for my CEC file? As all the 3 experience letters are kind of similar to one another. below are my job duties for all 3 companies.

Job duties from Company#1 - Engineer

Job duties included the following, but were not limited to:

• Developing and finalizing engineering designs and technical drawings based on initial concepts, calculations, and specifications.
• Producing 3D models and detailed 2D drawings for both production and service applications while collaborating with the sales team on equipment cost estimation.
• Utilizing and overseeing CAD software to generate highly accurate and detailed design layouts.
• Creating and maintaining Bills of Materials (BOM) to ensure accurate representation of project components and functionalities.
• Conducting thorough reviews and validations of design drawings to ensure compliance with engineering standards and project requirements.
• Providing hands-on technical support to manufacturing processes, including machining, welding, and structural assembly.
• Preparing and maintaining technical reports, project documentation, and SOPs for equipment operation and safety.
• Enhancing document control systems by introducing a structured change log for standard equipment tracking and service management.
• Drafting material estimates, assembly guidelines, and cost analysis reports for engineering projects.
• Refining and developing engineering design sketches to support project development and implementation.

Job duties from Company#2 - Engineering Co-Op Student

The duties and responsibilities were as follows:

1. Assisted production departments—welding, machining, and structural fabrication—by delivering real-time technical guidance and design clarification.
2. Created and maintained Bills of Materials (BOM) using CAD-integrated platforms to capture all functional and structural elements of machinery and equipment.
3. Utilized advanced CAD tools and digital drafting platforms to develop high-precision technical layouts and design files.
4. Refined and restructured the document control process by incorporating a change-tracking mechanism for standard equipment builds, enhancing traceability during maintenance.
5. Generated detailed engineering layouts and supporting documents derived from specifications, concept sketches, and technical calculations.
6. Designed comprehensive 2D and 3D CAD models to support manufacturing and field service teams with accurate visual and technical documentation.
7. Reviewed and validated all design outputs for accuracy, consistency, and alignment with engineering requirements.
8. Developed cost breakdowns and estimated materials and labor through the preparation of supporting documentation and technical illustrations.
9. Compiled full drawing sets for fabrication and assembly, ensuring strict compliance with applicable specifications and project data.

Job duties from Company#3 - Mechanical Drafter

The duties and responsibilities of "Name" as a Drafting technologists and technician are as

follows:

• Preparing 3D models and 2D drawing packages for production and service purposes, also working along with the sales team for estimating and costing the build of equipment.
• Operating and managing computer-assisted design (CAD) and drafting workstations to produce precise and detailed designs.
• Continuously developing and preparing design sketches for various engineering projects.
• Verifying and checking design drawings for adherence to specifications and engineering data.
• Provide direct engineering / technical support to all production areas: Machining, welding, and structural assembly.
• Completing comprehensive documentation packages and producing accurate drawing sets.
• Drafting assembly specifications, material estimates, and cost analysis.
• Creating Bill of Materials (BOM) using specialized software to represent the physical and functional aspects of engineering projects.
• Generating technical reports, and project documents and creating standard operating procedures (SOP) for equipment handling and safe operations.
• Improvised document management system and introduced change log for standard equipment for efficient tracking and service calls.
• Developing and preparing engineering designs and drawings based on preliminary concepts, sketches, engineering calculations, specification sheets, and other data.
