I am moving back to Canada as a Permanent Resident but will continue working for my US-based client. I need to choose between using an Employer of Record (EOR) or setting up as an Independent Contractor. Which model is more tax-efficient and legally compliant, and how should we structure the agreement based on the chosen path?
