Dears ,

My husband's employer doesn't provide an experience letter in the format required for PR process.
They only provide in their own very basic format and its not descriptive in the information needed.
What solutions do we have ?
Please suggest some sure hits.

Regards

It's a pretty common problem. You can get a letter with all the required details from your boss or a colleague. Get it notarized as well. That, along with other proofs of employment should be enough.

@muspal

two questions
who will receive the employment verification check from IRC if my husband's colleague has given him the experience letter ?
Is it the company or his colleague receives the employment verification from IRC ?

Should his colleague provide the letter in the company letterhead ? or plain white paper is enough ?

IRCC doesn't call and check in all cases. So there's a chance that they won't call if everything is in order. If they do, they will call on the number on the reference letter. In the letter of understanding you can make it clear that the employer doesn't give letter on the required format, only confirmation of employment that's why you're using the letter from colleague.

Letter head is better, but if that's not possible then plain will do fine as well.
