Employement offer

  1. Hello All,
    I am not sure for posting this question here. Please do help for my confusions.

    I am unemployed since 3 months. I do have one contract job opportunity in alberta hospital with regular hours - full benefits but for 6 months. Second job opportunity is for private clinic - full hours in alberta for 9-10 months.
    I am planning to take parental leave as well after 5 months. My wife is working since 6 months.
    My confusion is :
    1. Which job opportunity would b best for me?
    2. As I join , can my employer deny for paternal leave? Role of employer for granting paternal leave?
    3. Can I apply for paternal leave after the contract job is over? Can government deny paternal leave - benefits if dad is unemployed?
    4. In my case - can both the parents go for parental leave?

    Please do suggest thee best of your guidance and advice.
