My husband has become increasingly more abusive emotionally, I am being starved through the day and I am very depressed. I can't take this any more. Sorry for the tmi. I do not have my passport or anything any more, a drug addict stole it from me while I was living in a shelter in town. I do however have copied of my birth certificate, passport, and ss card. Will the border guards let me go back to my home in the states if I cross over with the paper??? I NEED to leave ASAP. I have a place to go btw. I need to some how get a bus to Indiana.

So sorry to hear that! Im sure if you are born in U.S and since u have ur birth certificate they will let you go through the border! As another poster said you can contact yoit embassy and they should be able to help you to go back to the states!
