I just got the report from the hospital after my Emedical was done. The hospital will be submitting the same result to Canadian Immigration. However the issue is that, on my Chest X-Ray they made the following diagnosis:-

"Rounded Densities with sharp borders are noted in the right infrahilar region which may represent calcific foci. It may represent sequalae of previous inflammation. The rest of the chest is clear"

Any doctors who can help ?? Will it be cause of rejection for my PR? Has anyone experienced such diagnosis ?

I spoke to the doctor, he says its fine nothing to worry about. Apparently its common for people from subcontinent. however he says its possible CIC might ask for additional test..

thinking of getting a 2nd opinion

my partner had a similar experience. Some thing showed up in her x-ray. You will get asked to do a sputum test, which takes 6-10 weeks and another x-ray after 3 months. if you cannot produce sputum, then another xray after 6 months instead.

it is to confirm/rule out active/inactive TB.

Also my partner saw a consultant away from the CIC medical who said there was nothing wrong with her and tested her, but CIC would not accept his results.

Does that mean there will be indefinite delay on my application to CIC ?

Thanks for the link. so its highly possible they will ask for additional tests...is it possible to get another chest xray and re upload that ? or should i wait for CIC to comeback once i submit my profile ?
If you medical has been submitted and not your application, CIC will still come back to you before hand, as I believe the medical department and application department are separate. So you may even get a email asking for more test before you application is submitted.

sure it will be fine.....maybe just a delay in the process. Even if you have active TB, I believe you don't fail overall, you just need to complete course of medication, I think etc.

Is there a possibility of doing the emedical again ? to avoid all this delay & hassle
no, CIC medical emailed me to contact the panel physician who had the notes of test. You can redo the medical......but I don't think the marks on your lungs are going to disappear are they?
