Hi There,

Is there anyone who had occupation as "Embedded sys software designer?" on WP? Mostly it was used in year 2009/2010
It was a synthetic code as 9999.2, LMO exempted
Do we need to put same code in Imm008 form?

Thanks

No. You need to select an NOC code from the 2011 NOC -
http://www5.hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2011/SearchIndex.aspx

Yeah,,, i had the same desgination for 2 years, but i have filed my application as NOC 2173. I think thats the best way known.

immaterial of the program u got work permit, special exemptions, what matters is the NOC code under which u got Canadian experience. Use 2011 codes

NOC 2173 matches, who are Software engineers and designers research, design, evaluate, integrate and maintain software .
However, I am System/Server Administrator and I don't do Development or design or testing.
They gave me Embedded sys software designer?" on WP and it was a synthetic code as 9999.2, LMO exempted

Do you think it should be ok for NOC 2281 for System/server Admin???

My contract says "IT Support Assistant",
my WP "COMP EQUIP OPS.NETWK OPS&WEB T",
and my duties match NOC 2281.

So I use 2281 for my application. As your job title and WP occupation varies from
employer to employer and VO to VO when WP is issued.

Your WP Occupation "COMP EQUIP OPS.NETWK OPS&WEB T" is correct for NOC 2281 as well matches for "IT Support Assistant"

My case is little bit different..
