Hi guys I can't hardly wait and being so worried that I have screwed up my application of informing CIC of my plan of getting married prior to becoming permanent resident in Canada when they sent me a request to pay RPRF on December 23, 2013 then I cancelled the plan after three weeks due to personal reason. Is it okay to email and ask CIC about the update of my application? I am just waiting for the decision and PPR and have paid RPRF in Jan 15. They request me to pay RPRF on December 23,2013 but I delayed the payment because of the plan of getting married and then sent me request again to pay RPRF on January 14, 2013 then I paid RPRF January 15, 2013 and cancelled my plan of getting married at the same time.
I emailed and informed them three times that I was cancelling my plan of getting married but never replied. Is it okay to email CIC again and ask the update on my application or better to just wait because someone says my application maybe on the other list now. Is that right?
I am on maternity leave and wanted have my PR before I go back to work. I moved to different city in Alberta when I gave birth and now on maternity leave and planning to live here for good because I can get a lot of help to look after my baby but have no choice and have to return to my employer where I have a contract until January 13, 2015 which is way very far from the city where I lived now if didn't get my PR in May. Just to let you guys know those are the reason why I am so worried. If it is not because of my baby I can patiently wait.
I am april appicant by the way.
Need some advice.
