Email if Application is returned - Inland Spousal Immigration

Hello,

Does CIC sends an email even in case of application being returned? As Canada Post strike is going on even if they return it might not reach us so is there any way of knowing the status.

Mail will eventually reach you even if Canada Post is on strike. It won't disappear.

As far as I know, if your application is returned, you do not get an email. You get your application returned to you by mail.

NOT AT ALL atleast not in my case. They returned full application without sending any email , phones no nothing.
