Can anyone give me the format of the email to ask about which visa office my application is being processed at? could it be L\in London or it has to be in Canada then transferred to London?

If you have applied in UK, you will get email from CIC to submit passports to London office. Likewise, if your base location is India, you will get email from CIC to submit passports at Delhi office.
You may even change case processing office to another country when you receive that email, if you moved to a different country after submitting application.

No specific email format for checking regarding visa office. Rare chance that you get reply from CIC. If your application is processed, automatically you will get an email.
