thank you for your reply but why not? I thought you get 600 points with job offer.

Job offer can only give you 600 points on CRS, not FSW points. Score 67 on fsw first to get into EE pool. Neither you will qualify for CEC without first completing 52 weeks work in canada.

Secular, i am thinking to ask for LMIA, if he gives then I can get work permit and work for the company then may get FSW points. Is that an ok way?

To be eligible for FSW you need one year work experience in last 10 years. Job offer can only help you increase CRS score in EE pool. But you can only enter EE pool under 3 categories - FSW - need one year exp outside canada, CEC - if you have one year exp inside canada or FST - one year experience inside or outside Canada in NOC C or D categories.

Job offer with LMIA can only help you get work permit.

Simply put, job offer with LMIA and put you in front for PR but before that you need to be eligible for application under different categories. And all economic classes have one year work experience as a prerequisite. Hope you got it.

yes so with the work permit i can go and work for one year in Canada and then I can enter the EE pool under CEC category and apply for PR, correct?

Yes - correct. You'll qualify once you have one full year of work in Canada.

thanks so can i ask the company for LMIA on the basis of my education alone.

I don't have the 1 year paid experience but I can get the experience if the company hires me with LMIA or do they need the experience before giving the LMIA.

thanks Dan for your input.

So if I get a 1 year job offer with LMIA, will getting a work permit be easier

If the job is contractual, is that an issue...should I try for a permanent job offer because I will use this job experience in Canada to apply for PR after a year.

Should it be in NOC 0, A or B to qualify for PR under CEC category.

thanking you in advance

Hi All,
I have done my btech after completing my diploma(lateral entry to second year) and have only 6 marklist and the degree certificate. Can anyone hear confirm whether my education equals to the Canadian education(4 years equivalent degree) as per the WES assessment.

Thanks in advance..
