Hi forum members,
just a quick question here please.
if an applicant under cec receives medical, rprf and biodata request, does it mean eligibility is set to PASSED in gcms or it can still be under recommended passed or review required?
please share your opinions.
thanks and good luck to everyone

Why else would they request "right of permanent residence fee"?
as you can find on cic website, if you received a MR, you have met the eligibility and they are moving your application further, hence asking for biodata and sending you rprf.
Unless there was an issue with your medical results you are for sure getting your PR.
it will just be a matter of time.

i'm certain about this. if you have seen the forum, rprf email says "you have been found eligible in the class you applied. criminality, medical and security etc are ongoing".

do you see eligibility passed in gcms? or have you received mr/rprf email? either ways - you're good !

all the best. i'm hoping to see some good news in the coming news :)

i received an advice to pay the RPRF and a biodata form but no Medical Request, what does this mean? am i eligible then or are they still checking the documents that i have submitted? thanks

MR will follow soon - few more days, just hang in there.

When did you submit your application and when did you get email to pay RPRF?

submitted my application on Jan. 2013. received RPRF and Biodata form Oct. 16, 2013. A friend of mine got her Medical Request but no RPRF and Biodata. Seems odd that mine is the other way around.

VOs do things differently....some update ecas immidiately, while others send out requests and later update the system. Plus, every application is different. And you can clearly see that by browsing the stories on here.

eds and squishyface make a good point and I agree. if you get MR or request for BIO and RPRF, you will be going on to the next stage. not everyone gets MR first and not everyone gets request for RPRF and BIO first...sometimes applicants get all of them together.

if you received any of these...follow instructions and be patient. you are already ahead of quite a few ppl on here. be thankful! ;D

I'd suggest starting with the CIC website. Everything you need to know is there. The application itself is straight forward, so there is no need for a representative. But that comes down to a personal preference.

Requirements:

12 months of skilled work experience
NOC 0, A or B
Paid experience that is not a part of studies
Language requirements

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/index.asp - CEC site

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/apply-who.asp - Eligibility

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5610E.pdf - Checklist (everything you need to provide)

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/language-testing.asp - Language testing

After reading all of this, if you still have questions or concerns...post in the forum, and one of the members will help you out. Avoid posting any personal identifiable information...for your own safety and privacy. Also, if you read through the threads on the forum, theres a lot of good material and advice. Should be able to answer most, if not all, of your questions.

Good luck!

Good to see another Jan applicant get RPRF !

can you please post your timelines in the Jan 2013 thread http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/new-cec-jan-2013-applications-t129869.1845.html?

also, is there a visa officer code in the signature of the RPRF email? can you please share?

All the best !
