Hi everyone, about to apply for citizenship. I read that I have to prove my english language skills. I have lived a long time in Canada and can talk/understand english easily but haven’t taken any courses before. Is there any test I can do that will be accepted? If so, how much does it cost? Thanks

Didn't you go to college at some point?

Hello,
college degree certificate is enough? My certificate doesn’t show medium of course was in English. Is that fine?
Yup, we only submitted out college diploma. It wont say "courses were in english". Is yours issued in english?

Thank you for the response.
Yes certificate is issued in English.

Did your application get processed successfully with just submitting the degree certificate for language requirements?

If you took English test at the time of PR, that will work as well even if it is expired.

Thanks for the response.
unfortuantely, I don’t have a copy of my test results. When I contacted IDP they mentioned they could not found my records as they expire in 2 years.
I don’t recollect they sent the results in electronic version to me at that time of the test.
Is there any other way I can get a copy of my old IELTs results?

Sorry, not sure about that. You may have to search the internet or perhaps this forum.
