I am really thankful to all those who replied to my previous queries.

I have doubt in my mind. Can I claim points for my spouse if she is included in my application but does not intend to move Canada. In other words, Can I only claim points for my spouse if she is included in my applicatoin AND moving Canada with me

Thanks a lot

I am not sure but it would not make sense to award you points for a spouse who is not coming to Canada with you.

I think it does say accompanying spouse.

apply for her also if your are short of points, you can take her to canada & send her back or dont take her and tell during landing in canada that she will join soon due to not keeping well or so... but if she does not arrives before visa expires or does not stay more than 1095 days in 5yrs (if she comes to canada & go back) she will lose PR, but later you can always sponsor her & ur family

In the above case, you must show more money equivalent for two people and of course, your application fees is for two people too.
