I just recently dropped one course because the burden on my head was too much, i am enrolled in a 2 year program that means i will qualify for a three year work permit, but does dropping this course makes my life much more difficult while applying for a work permit...i am still studying for 15 hours despire dropping that course..i will take it again in summers..

Than if that is the question, the OP can get a PGWP when he finishes (all courses) of his program as long they are graduating from an accredited/accepted school.
