hello everybody,

I am a permanent resident in BC. Trying to help my brother to come and fill the forms. Our doubt is related to his profession. He is an Electrical Engineering, but this profession is not included in the new list to immigrate as a Skilled Worker, but Electrician is included. Do you know what the officer is going to look for? The NOC on the enveloppe, or the main duties/responsibilities at work? Does he have any chance to get the visa? He has the other requirements except a job offer, please any comment or help would be highly appreciate.
Thanks a lot,
Yacku

Hi!

He can apply as Electrician (NOC 7241) but his job duties should match with that NOC 7241 specified on HRSDC website. Has he worked as an Electrician some where or his job duties match with those specified on HRSDC website for Electrician? If yes he can apply otherwise not.....

Thanks
