i think i asked this question b4 buh no response,i have stoped wrking since august so what will i put as my personal income....
thanks.

First of all, request Option C from CRA from last year.
Secondly, write a cover letter explaining your financial situation explaining about EI, if you are getting one. If you have a good amount in your bank, attach a bank statement as well. You just have to show them how are you surviving if you don't have a job. As long as you are not on welfare and you have no history of bankruptcy, you will be fine.

they have sent the option c..
this question is on sponsor evaluation-your net personal income for the 12 month period preceding the date of your application
i stopped working on august and i start receiving EI on septmember.
i filled all application form on may with date so should i put my net income from may 2010 to 2011
thanks.

I put N/A as per CIC call center agent's advice.

I was also confused about the same when I applied as I had no income that time. The agent advised to put N/A in "net persona income" section as spousal application is exempt from income requirement. All they want to see is you are not on welfare or any kind of social assistance. Explain on a separate sheet of paper about your financial status and your future plan about how you planning to support your family.

they approved me as a sponsor without any trouble.

you can put your total income of last 12 months. I did not work in Canada in last 12 months , so I was advised to put N/A there

pls i need more clarification i received EI twice in a week.i dont have pay stub for it so its kinda difficult to know what to put down 4 net income.pls i wanted to send my form soon.

You put N/A, just like the three above said.

If you are filing your weekly reports for EI online you should have a record of your EI payments and tax deductions there. EI is income (you pay income tax on it).
