I have a golden mastercard from the national bank of egypt (El bank el Ahly).. my limit till this moment is 30000 (30 thousands) egyptian pounds or equivalent in foreign currency. The platinum mastercard there gives you 100,000 EGP or equivalent in foreign currency.

So I got additional requests for documents, one of which is Income tax statements for 2012 – 2015. Do we have that in egypt?

that is exactly what i was speaking about.. u can prove officially your job is taxable bu the alternative we have which is being insured and this is the only governmental thing that proves that you have been working in a legit institution and the form is called [برنت مخرّم] i have it but i dont know how to upload the image

I have platinum, limit for foreign transactions is 17,500 regardless of your card ceiling

How about using a dollar debit account I know cib allows up to $10000 a month but from a debit account for point of sale and not cash, would that work?

I had this idea an hour ago and decided to go to the bank tomorrow and ask about using the $ debit card online, but now thats gone too.

Anyway Im going tomorrow and I'll ask if there is any possible way, its freakin stupid, I have a $ account and I can't pay for the application fees thats rediculous!
If I lose all options I'll probably look for friends who live abroad and use their cards... if anyone was kind enough.
