Hey guys!

Me and my boyfriend are seeking ways to go work and live in Canada. One of the options is EE (FSW), but we are a bit confused about the N0C requirements...
I would seek an employment as a receptionist (hotel front desk clerk) and based on this classification this job level is C.( NOC code 1414 as a receptionist and 6525 as hotel front desk clerk.)

Am I therefore still elegible for EE? Would my application go through if I obtain a job offer in this sector? Is it possible that we both apply through one application or does it have to be done separately?

I'm also aware that seeking a potential employer online (we are from Slovenia) can be very hard - does anyone have experiences in this area?

My boyfriend would probably work as a store clerk or something along those lines, is there a possibility that I sponsor him (or vice versa) in any way, so that he seeks employment inside Canada?

How would you suggest we start doing this?

Thanks a lot for your help! ;-)

first of all NOC C is not accepted in EE. only noc 0,A and B. so there is no chance for noc C.

also try to assess your crs points based on your experience, ielts score, age factor and check where you stand.

you can go ahead as a common law partner but needs to have noc 0 or a or b.

so may be if your boy friend has experience as a store supervisor.

Ok, that's what I needed to know... But what if we both get a valid job offer, would that count towards validation?
As I can tell, my former work experiences as a receptionist also do not count? Based on the 6 factors it appears that we might qualify.

hi,

i didnt get you.

so you mean to say that you will ask your employer to give you a letter with noc b job title?

Read FSW requirements properly

"Six selection factors

If you meet all the conditions set out in the minimum requirements, we will assess your application based on the selection factors in the federal skilled worker points grid.Footnote 1

The selection factors are:"

Above minimum requirements are spelled out.

Minimum requirements
Skilled work experience

Your work experience must be:

at least one year (1,560 hours total / 30 hours per week), continuous full-time or an equal amount in part-time,
paid work (volunteer work, unpaid internships do not count),
in the same job,
within the last 10 years, and
at skill type 0, or skill levels A or B of the 2011 National Occupational Classification (NOC).

No, we do not have a prospective employer yet. I meant to say if there is any other way that we can still qualify, that is - with a job offer. Clearly we do not meet the N0C requirements, but if there are any other options we would be interested to know.

So without being in the correct skill level bracket, there is absolutely no way to enter Canada via the EE option. No way whatsoever?

Thanks a lot for your help! Finally some people who could give us with some proper info :)

yes no other way in EE.

ask your employer if he/she can show your experience with some other job title in noc a or 0 or b rather than receptionist.

that will be the way but it depends.
