EE Profile submission while Visa renewal in progress

Hi All,

I have been in Canada for 2.5 yrs, I have renewed my Work Permit and my Temporary Resident Visa renewal is in progress (in GCKey account under my name not my company is processing). At this same time, can I submit a express entry profile? The reason I am asking so is, one of my friend told you cant do the same and doing so will result in either one of them being rejected. Do note. the processing time given for my TRV is 84 days, while i submitted and already 50 days has gone by.

You can submit your Express Entry profile. There are no issues with doing this.
