Hi everyone,

Good day.
I couldn’t seem to find any threads regarding the possible relationship between EE process time and IELTS/ CELPIP score. My theory is that if your IELTS/CELPIP score is high, you could possibly get your application moving faster.
Could anyone share their IELTS/CELPIP score along with their ITA and Ready for visa date? Thanks you!

I will start with mine:
ITA: August 9, 2017;
Application submit date:September 7, 2017
Ready for Visa date: October 31, 2017;
IELTS:
L:8.5
R:9
W:7
S:8

One year work experience with a two-year diploma. My case is also simple because i dont have any other work/ education backgrounds.

Mine is 434, college diploma background with one year work experience.
Bumping up your IELTS score should be the easiest thing to boost your oevrall CRS score from my opinion.

There is absolutely no correlation between your IELTS score and PR application (AOR, PPR, etc.) processing time. The only advantage you get with high IELTS score is more CRS points and hence your chances to be receive an ITA becomes higher. After the ITA, nothing else. Good Luck!

I just have a feeling of this because my application seems to move faster than the ones in the same batch. I also have friends in the same situation too but my sample size is too small.

Did you apply from within Canada? I think my IELTS score was 7.5 - 8
