EE- Canadian Experience Class

Hello,
I am applying for EE and am eligible for Canadian experience class. I am about to reach recent cut-off of 455 only if I apply with my previous experience. Actually, I have previous experience of NOC B from 10 May 2016 to 20 April 2017 which is 20 days short from 1 year. My question is :

• Should I get points for this experience or not?
• I only have bank statements that can show the transactions of my cheques. Is it enough to show work experience??

I would really appreciate if someone can help me that whether I should go with this experience or not?

1. you wont get points for this experience alone. coz it was 20 days short but u can combine it with your other work experience.

1) Maybe. How much total skilled work experience do you have? List all your jobs in the last 10 years with respective NOC type (0, A, Or B) and also start date and end date.

2) Bank statements by itself are not enough to prove the work experience. You need evidence that proves your job duties match those of the NOC you have chosen.

2) I mean, I have job letter including all the job duties but just have bank statements to support job letter.

Hello All,
I am little confused about the completion of my 52 week work experience. I started working on Feb 19th, 2019 . Unfortunately between March16th,2019- April 26th 2019 (6weeks) I was on unpaid vacation as I had to go back to India due to personal reason.
I submitted my express entry profile on March 26th, 2020 . ITA received April 16th,2020 under CEC.
Excluding my 6 weeks unpaid vacation, I got my ITA on 55th week of work experience. I hope this might not be effect my eligibility?

Planning to accept my ITA and submit e-apr in the month of June.

PS- I am temporarily laid off from work but hopefully that I will be rehired in upcoming 2 weeks.

Any advise on my situation much appreciated!

That should be fine then.

Suggest to review the work experience section on this page. Note that the only mandatory document requirement for employees (i.e. not self-employed) is a reference letter that meets the following requirements:

"a reference or experience letter from the employer, which

• should be an official document printed on company letterhead (must include the applicant’s name, the company’s contact information [address, telephone number and email address], and the name, title and signature of the immediate supervisor or personnel officer at the company),
• should indicate all positions held while employed at the company and must include the following details: job title, duties and responsibilities, job status (if current job), dates worked for the company, number of work hours per week and annual salary plus benefits;"

If your reference letter meets all these requirements, there is technically no need to supplement it with additional documents. Many people choose to do so regardless because they think it strengthens their application.

Note however that for Canadian work experience it says also:

If the work experience is in Canada, proof may include copies of T4 tax information slips and notices of assessment issued by the Canada Revenue Agency (the time period for these documents should reflect the work experience timeframe [e.g., work experience from 2006 to 2008 requires only documents from those calendar years]).

The word "may" suggests that this is somewhat optional, but if you do have Canadian work experience, it is probably a good idea to include it.

So, I have

• 10May 2016 to 20-April 2017( 20 days short from 1 year) as Quality Control Supervisor -India
• 15 Feb 2019 to Present as an Administrative Assistant - Canada

I have everything written on my Reference letter that you have mentioned above. Will they consider my Indian experience which is 20 days short from 1 year?
