EE Biometrics question

Hey guys,

I have a question about biometrics. When I applied for work permit the beginning of this year, I already did biometrics and it is still valid.
Do I still need to re-do it for permanent resident? I heard that from Dec 3 there are some locations that people can go for biometrics inside Canada.
I am CEC inland and it was written 'exempt' in GCMS on Nov. Does it possible to change that I have to do it again?

Biometrics must be done again for a PR app. I don't know if IRCC has specified if inland apps already in process will remain exempt.
