I've completed a 16month diploma program and the program includes two two-week-long breaks. (Jun22,2009 - Oct27,2010)
The program consists of 4 terms and each term has two levels. Each level is 8 week long.
If 1 month equals 4 weeks, the whole program would be 16 months excluding two breaks. If not, I have to wait till Jan, 2013.
Has anyone been in a similar situation?

Thanks ujbaby,
Yes I've completed the program as a full time student.
The program description on my school's website says it's 16 months program with two short breaks. I'm worried that those two breaks would make the program as a 15 month program because of the requirement on the CEC guide.

You must have studied in a program of study or training with a full-time duration of at least 16 months (i.e. two academic years of at least 8 months excluding scheduled breaks, such as summer holidays, in the calculation).

Re: Education Requirement

Thanks again ujbaby,
It's aircraft maintenance engineering M program from BCIT. I'm going to apply after Dec 14,2012. If I'm not sure by then, I'd wait two more weeks and apply after January 1,2013 just to be safe.

This is what it says on the overview of the program
The program consists of 16 continuous months with short breaks in December and August
