Hello everyone,

Long time lurker here! I've read through various posts on here as well as the official Canadian government website to educate myself well enough on the Express Entry program as a whole.

I am about to finish my Bachelor's in Business Administration, however, unfortunately even with nearly perfect IELTS scores I will be around 30 points off the cut-off score.
In order to raise my score to reach the 470-ish cut-off point, I currently plan on doing an EDX Professional Certificate Program. The question I have is would an EDX Professional Certificate Program from the University of Washington in IT Project Management, which is 5 months long and completed online, be evaluated by WES? I have done some research and apparently WES evaluates academic degrees ONLY but also Professional Graduate Certificate Programs, however, I am unsure whether that is the same thing as a Professional Certificate Program. For instance, if I were to complete a Professional Certificate Program online issued by a non-academic institute such as IBM would that mean that it would not be evaluated by WES, whereas if I were to do a Professional Certificate Program online issued by an academic institute such as the University of Washington WES would indeed evaluate it?

Seriously confused and lost some good amount of sleep over this topic, any help would be much appreciated!

I'm assuming you wish to claim points for 2 or more degrees, one of which is at least a 3 year degree.

However, to be elligible for that you would need to have at least a qualification equivalent to a 1 year diploma, in addition to your degree.

Hi, I am indeed attempting to claim points for 2 or more degrees. Sorry, I meant a year and 5 months for the Certificate Program, not 5 months.
