Education permit while PR application is underway

Hi,

Could there be any problem in applying for a student visa for admission into a course like an MBA, while one's spousal PR visa is being processed?

I am thinking of studying as being a good way to start my Canadian Career rather than wasting time working elsewhere while the PR process takes its time.

No, there is no issue applying for a student visa while your PR app is processing. The 2 apps are completely independent of each other.
