The Canadian University announces partial exemption of tuition for wishing to continue their studies Moroccan students.

The main problem for students wishing to pursue their studies abroad tuition. Recognizing this concern, and to encourage Moroccan students continue their studies at the University of Ottawa decided scholarships in the form of exemption from taxes and fees.

This is the Chancellor of the university, Michaëlle Jean, who made the announcement in Rabat on the sidelines of talks with the Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Professional Training, Lahcen Daoudi.

This measure, which comes into effect from the next academic year, will allow Moroccan students wishing to continue their studies in French language within the University, to perform the same fees as domestic students or those legally residing in the country, without having to go through the quota system.

"Under this measure, undergraduate students enrolled in a program taught in French will be charged tuition fees 6,500 CAD per year instead of 21,000 currently, which will reduce the cost of a year school of 34,000 to 19,500 CAD per year, "said the Chancellor.

Regarding Master students and PhD, they will pay, meanwhile, 10,000 CAD in tuition against 19,000 currently, which will reduce the cost at $ 29,000 a school year against 38,000 currently.

However be noted that the exemption applies to all university levels of education, with the exception of programs taught by university outside Canada.
