Hello!! i have been lurking on this board for sometime.
Me and my bf applied in May 2009, and in October 2009 our file was transferred to the local office without AIP (he was out of status). We got together a bunch of new documents and brought them to the local office (our son's birth certificate, beneficiary infomration etc). And today an immigration officer called us and asked us some questions, when we met, where we met, etc, and she approved us! She said she wanted to move our file ahead quickly.
I am still in shock, and so is my bf.
Hope this helps to provide some positive thoughts and faith for anyone who is waiting for some progress with the Edmonton CIC.
