will 4 hrs transit time at Montreal airport be sufficient for immigration formalities?

at least 4 hours try for more if possible. as with us it took 4 hours because like you many are on the same flight who are immigrating and many on other flights arrived before you so there is normally very rush. and they do all formulates done before giving you the landing papers. It may take lesser time but you should not take risk of being panic at immigration counter or miss your connecting flight, as they will take their time to check all papers, drafts, ask about how much cash filling of couple forms.

Normally the street and avenues shows north or south. more ever you will find NW=North west, SW=South west SE-=South east etc. pr map will tell you, your postal code also identifies which area you belong.

Quite strange but I noticed NW in the map everywhere even if the location is in the South. Can you please let me know the cheap hotel you mentioned in one of your poster earlier?

Driving Licence Issues: learn from my mistakes.


What happened with me is I had driving licence issued in 2001 from Islamabad and was expired in 2005 but as in routine i never renewed it, when coming to Canada I went to SSP office to renew my licence which was expired 7 years ago. they gave me a new learner licence and i got new licence in Dec 2012 and landed in the same month in Canada, I submitted my new driving licence which was valid with international licence but Again I was given learner licence GDL7 based on my previous driving experience which was few days. Again I went to them with my old expired (7years ago) licence to show my previous driving licence, they asked to verify it i first got it verified from Islamabad but did not work, They did not accept the verification, then I sent it to Pakistan High Commission, Vancouver, luckily they verified it and now I got exemption from learner and I have booked my Advanced test on 31 August, will take the test and In Shah Allah Will get my Alberta operator Licence.

Edmonton was fully covered with Snow and remained till April, now it is summer and looks very beautiful. Winter remains for 8 months and temperature go to Max -45 and average -25. good for work. as far as apartment depends on area and situation of apartment. fr one bed room from 700 to 1000 and for two bed from 800 to 1600.

Hi bro.,

Since u r landed in December with two kids which is really cold time in Edmonton, could u please advise us how to manage this much cold initially? I will be landing with my family (one infant & another 4 y kid) at Toronto in January. We will be flying from Karachi InshAllah & we never been to snow overlaid areas :.
