My wife is trying to edit saved IMM forms before we send to CIC, but is encountering an error,

This document enabled features in Adobe Reader. The document has been changed since created and use of extended features is no longer available. Please contact the author for the original version of this document.

Has anyone else had this happen? If so, how do we enable editing again so we can tweak the forms without retyping the whole thing?

This happened to me before. Try downloading free trial of Adobe Acrobat Pro, and it'll work.

I used Foxit. It worked well for me:

As always guys - thanks!

wish I had known that....was a nightmare trying to complete the forms as it kept happening to me as well!

We also had the same problem and Foxit was able to fix it. The problem only occurs on a Mac and when we worked on the same forms on a Windows we didnt have the issue.

I had issues with some of the forms when using Adobe Reader on Windows. Foxit resolved it for me.

I got lucky in a way, they updated them so I had to redo them anyway. The paperwork really sucked especially after they lost it. Then the MP we called said to resubmit and at that point they'd updated them again so I had to do some 3 times >:( :( . If they spent as much time doing applications , instead of updating forms, things would be so much better. I literally had to redo a form because they updated it but all they changed was ONE WORD. At least from what I noticed Either way in my mind it didn't even change the question being asked, it was a grammar issue. Can't remember which one it was though.

Hello mikeymyke :)
i was searching for the tips to arrange evidences on this forum .One of your posts really helped me very much but i have certain confusions I hope you can guide me about those.
these are as follows:

My spouse has not visited yet after marriage but will visit in december , he is not telling me that date etc for his visit ,he wants to surprise me. Should I mention that in the sponsor's visit information or not?

I have a long call record for my spouse phone number which was not written on the form at the time of application. is it Ok to write a letter along with the call record mentioning that its also his number?

Am i supposed to put my application number on each n every page i am sending?

Will really appreciate you response.
Thank you

Hope I can chime in :)

It is often necessary to provide evidence of continued contact with visits etc; but I believe CIC also understands not everyone has the luxury to time and money so even if you dont provide its fine as well (of course you will show other methods - call logs, video chat etc). We were engaged for a year and a half and we visited only once during that time and its been two months since we got married and haven't visited each other yet. If he is visiting before you send the application I think should should mention the date and may be send a copy of the ticket as well. Yes I know it exciting to keep it a surprise but since he is coming it would only benefit you showing his plans.. My 2 cents..

I think you should mention in a quick note that this is his number and may be highlight his number as well (if it is contained in a list with other numbers

Are you asking about your UCI number? Generally its not needed since you are sending the entire package together - We put it in the front of the sheets for additional explanation

Will really appreciate you response.
Thank you
