Hi

I do have a question for Ecase sysem. I heard that we can see the progress of our PR application by that. So when can we see our file details ? is it true that we have to wait till AOR we receive to see our file progress in the sytem ? OR after sending application , couple of week later , we can check the progress by providing say client id ...? is that true ?

Thanks,
Duke.

Mine started showing up the same day I got my AOR in the mail.

e-CAS is pretty much useless for applications at visa offices outside of Canada...

HEY GUYS SORRY, I KNOW IT SOUNDS STUPID WHAT DOES AOR MEANS? IS IT APPROVAL OF RESIDENCE?I AM NEW ON THIS FORUM SO YEAH.. AND HAVE ANY OF YOU GUYS GOT PR BY CANADAIN EXPERIENCE CLASS? DOES IT TAKE THE TIME IT SHOWS ON WEBSITE OR IS IT LONGER THAN THAT CONSIDERING YOUR APPLICATION WAS COMPLETE AND THERE WERE NO DELAYS?

AOR = Acknowledgment of Receipt, which means that a visa officer has briefly checked your application for completeness (no missing documents) but has not assessed it in detail.

Processing time is hard to predict. The time on the CIC website is how long it took for typical applications that have just been processed, i.e. "14 months" means that application submitted about 14 months ago were processed in about 14 months. The best resource I know of for current information is the "tracker" on another website:
